Where are the Wild Things?

…There they are!

The long loved children’s book by Maurice Sendak, ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ is currently being made into a movie master piece. Directed by ‘Spike Jonze’ (Being John Malkovich and Adaptation) better known for directing such great music videos as ‘Buddy Holly’ by Wheezer (The Happy days one, remember?).

The film is due for release this October, with such voice talents as Benicio Del Toro and Forest Whitaker. Unfortunately I have not yet seen a trailer, only a few screen shots, but it looks like ‘Where the Wild Things are’ could be everything you’re hoping for, if you were once a child. I have it on good authority that Jonze and Sendak have been in talks, combining their vision for fans and film goers alike.

I’ll be looking out for the trailer and slap it on here as soon as it’s released but until then…
