Angry Boys

Last night aired the first episode of ‘Angry Boys’ on BBC Three, the new comedy by Summer Heights High writer and star Chris Lilley:

Unfortunately it seemed to be a surprisingly LESS refined version of Lilley’s 2005 comedy We Can Be Heroes. Twitter however was going wild and within moments Angry Boys was trending. It seemed the public had taken to it like a scythe to a jugular (clearly they had not seen the earlier iteration).

I will keep watching though, if not merely for the irregular appearance of S.Mouse’s Father, but I don’t hold much hope for this reaching the ‘class’ of comedy we were exposed to in Summer Heights.
