If you were to combine a fuck bucket of things I love, from digital interactivity to 90’s beat ’em ups… you’d probably end up with this:

Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter – In real life:

Created by the awesome GakAttack, the perfect blend of special effects and martial arts, alongside .Start, the gamer specific entertainment channel… This is one of the best portrayals of real life Street Kombat (see what I did there) I have ever seen!

Congratulations boys, that was Perfect! (Or should I say Flawless?)

Keep an eye on this incredible team, they plan to make an entire series dedicated to Fan Fights. If your appetite is not whet enough yet, check out this super-human showdown:

Batman vs Captain America – Ultimate Fan Fight:

Fed into my eyes by @D_NSandNick.

With A Piece Of Chalk

I found this to be one of the most perfectly composed, thoughtfully directed, elegantly scored, emotionally moving and simply beautiful adaptations of Billy Elliot EVER!!!

It’s Showtime for Animators

Showtime have managed to combine all of my favourite YouTube animators, actors and artists to create a series of excellent clips called Shortstories.

Simon’s Cat

Bill Plympton

Mystery Guitar Man

Thank you Showtime for making/wasting my day.

Marcel the Shequel

Over a year ago a tiny little shell named Marcel came out of his… well, he introduced himself to the public. An instant viral sensation with his sweet understated voice, innocent questions and adorable stories.

Well now he’s back, with more stories questions and inimitable charm:

Life’s Too Short

Since the birth of Family Guy there has not been many comedies that deliver so many laughs per minute. However, Ricky Gervais and his rib-tickling band of comedy co-workers have pretty much delivered every time. Not least with the An Idiot Abroad sequel, An Idiot Abroad 2.

Now the boys have created another master piece, this time with a little help from Willow actor Warwick Davis. There is a series of video plugs and clips from new series Life’s Too Short, here’s one Gervais circulated on Twitter earlier today:

Tweet That

But for those of you that love the contagious laugh of the jolly joker himself… here’s one of my faves:

You may like having a good lunch in a quiet place like a park… But what if your lunch doesn’t?

In the street everyone can hear you scream, but honestly who cares?

Gore-geuos animation!

I really like the way this turns from a fun cutesy animation to a Troma style blood bath in just 2 minutes.

Also, make sure you stick around through the credits to see some great homages to such movie marvels as Aliens and Braindead.

Cardboard Warfare 2

For those of you that enjoyed the awesome special effect extravaganza that was Cardboard Warfare, there’s now the epic Cardboard Warfare 2!
Unfortunately the novelty value was almost exhausted after the first 3 and a half minute short and now this 25 minute epic seems to be taking advantage of the term.

If you have a spare 25 minutes, then I’d say watch it, it is impressive but lacks comedy and apart from a cheeky cocktail any new ideas. But still, saying that… hats off to pwnisher for creating this:

A squad from Cardboard Company is sent to locate and kill a Nazi Officer responsible for the deaths of countless American lives.

Guys! We have finally finished Cardboard Warfare 2. It took about 5 months to complete, took a lot of blood, sweat, tears, time and stress. I want to thank everyone who was a part of this crazy project! I hope everyone enjoys
