The Cat and the Butter

So we’ve all heard the old buttered cat conundrum. How would a cat land if it had a buttered piece of toast attached to its back? Or… would it remain in a state of perpetual motion?

This classic theory has not only been put to the test but the test has been put to use.

Absolutely amazing work from Ogilvy, Sao Paulo!

I couldn’t decide whether it was a real drink or just a funky bit of content. So,to put any equally curious minds at ease, Flying Horse does exist.

Thanks to Adam Bright for finding this gem!

Technologicool

Glue Isobar have introduced me to two wonderful things this morning. The first is a mobile development which enables users to experience physical buttons on a flat touchscreen.

Tactus have created a tactile touchscreen that works by pumping fluid into a specially designed flexible surface, turning the once flat on screen buttons into, well…  bumpy real buttons.

Tactus Technology

The next technological breakthrough comes in the form of a dead cat. Meet Orville, after being fatally hit by a car, Dutch artist and owner Bart Jansen decided his to immortalise his beloved pet by turning him into a helicopter.
Check it out, this engine really purrs… or at least it used to.

A great start to the week, thank you @glueIsobar.

Nyan Cat Appears on Spotify

The infamous Nyan Cat is now available on Spotify, but that’s not the fun bit… Look at the progress bar at the bottom.

It’s nigh on amazing!

I may be a little late to the party, but that would be because I have abandoned Spotify since it forced me to log in through facebook. And my hatred of this is not only (but including) for the fact I wish to listen to Cindy Lauper in peace without informing my facebook friends or even having to adjust my privacy settings, but it also irks me that I’m now constantly updated with every bit of drivel my so called friends feel like listening to on this now too public channel.
