Dentsu London have created these adorable AR teddies that live independent of human interaction, communicate with one another, act out stories and are generally really frikkin cute:

Congrats guys!

If you want to see this real life cartoon crossover they will be on display at ‘Designs of the year’ until 15th of July. If you want to buy one… Get in line!

The Best of Benton/Fenton

For those of you who didn’t see the original mutt based mayhem, here’s Fenton (originally considered to be called Benton) in Richmond Park.

Jesus Christ in Richmond park

Within a week Fenton the deer seeking dog has become an internet phenomenon and now he’s at it again, this time he is praying on bigger beasts:

Jurassic Pa-BENTON!

And of course, my own entries…

Running with Benton

Benton vs Fireworks

And so it continues…

Benton the dog vs Starship Troopers – Jesus Christ!

Benton’s trip to Africa

Yakety Sax Edit

Hitler’s even had a go:

Adolf Hitler in Richmond Park

And there’s even more from creator Southparkalot on his YouTube Channel, including Jesus Christ in 300 and Jesus Christ Throws a Shoe at George Bush.

And it turns out I even like…

Benton Streisand

Here’s one I actually wanted to do myself. Benton vs The Wicker Man. It’s something about Edward Woodwards screams that I find absolutely terrifying:

Benton Meets Wickerman

Jesus Christ in The Birds

Benton/Fenton Pitch Invasion

Jesus Christ and Indiana Jones

And they keep on coming.

Here’s Alien, 28 Weeks Later, Jumanji, Braveheart, Lord of the Rings, Trainspotting, Jaws, The Birds, Mars Attack,  The Thing and the list keeps going.

Most of them I don’t actually find that good, and I’ve left a lot out, and there’s not enough hours in the day to keep updating so unless something amazing (like Benton vs Fireworks) comes along… I may have to call it a day.

All brought to my attention thanks to ThePoke.co.uk

The creators of the video have come forward, to talk about the media attention as well as the dos actual name… Fenton:

Kittencamp October 2011

The formula for Kittencamp is simple; A giant Cat faces off against a giant Dog in a best internet clip takes all scenario, this continues for about 5 rounds and the overall victor takes home the coveted Kittencamp trophy. And thus concludes the first segment.

We started by hearing the latest internet collaboration from the late Amy Wineh0use and the awesome Nononono Cat.

Firstly, for those of you that haven’t seen it and because I love it…

The Original:

Now the meme that will cast the first stone:

Cat Doesn’t Want To Go To Rehab

This was quickly countered with the more than worthy Creationist Cat talking about abortion.

A quick introduction to…

Creationist Cat

And now here’s the pure comedy clip that won the Lol Puppy the round:

Creationist Cat Solves The Abortion Crisis

So, that was the first round, and so it went on. But I don’t have to explain each back and forth. Here’s a shit load of cool videos that made up the rest of the competition… Enjoy!

Apparently an actual ad created by Rhett and Link for Fountain of Health

Thanks to all involved.

100 Years of Awesome

I missed this when it came out, which is a shame because it is just a beautiful piece of video. A practically unbranded ad for the opening of Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford City, playfully documenting the evolution of dance, music and (more importantly) fashion from 13 Sept 1911 to 13 Sept 2011 (the date of opening). Just watch, enjoy and apologies for it being a month late:

Did anyone notice the branding?  …No?

It blatantly starts and ends with the Westfield sign being partially in shot from a reverse angle. Who could miss that?

Shout outs go to The Viral Factory!

As many of you may know, there has been a little unrest in the streets of London over the past few days. Our beautiful city now resembles that of sci-fi horror flick, the dystopian future has become our now. Yet out of the flames comes one tumblr blog that is striving to put a positive spin on such a horrendous thing…

Here are some of my faves:

And here are some of my own:

Michael's a riot

The route of the problem

The classic fan throw/castanet move

"You're going down for a long time."

Jumping on the Bieber Burger Wagon

Good luck all.

Police, Camera, Achtung!

Danny Shine gets pulled over by the a policeman (PC Stout) whilst cycling down Edgware Road. What happens next is as embarrassing and comedic (more in my opinion) than The Office (UK version of course).

Unfortunately cyclist blessed with this new knowledge (i.e. when it comes to the law you’re better off not asking the police, or at least PC Stout) may be even more tempted to run red lights.

Someone has already put a laughter track to it, here.

If there is anything I love most in the world… it’s beer.  But second to that is Robots.  And this morning an enormous octobot descended on Trafalgar Square to project 3D messages into the night sky.

OUTRACE is the name of this eight legged freak and you can see a live stream here.

The project, by German designers Clemens Weisshaar and Reed Kramand, was constructed to open the London Design Festival which will be running until the 26th of September.

Users can input their own words of wisdom here, and I’ll give £10 for the first man (or woman) to get Randude projected into the sky.

Tube Refund

Ever had to suffer over 15minutes of underground armpit in London’s tube stations without any signs of a train???
Well, did you know you’re entitled to a refund because of this?

No… neither did I, but now you can claim a refund from your iPhone, I’m all over it!

Download from iTunes

Fact: If your tube journey is delayed by more than 15 minutes you are entitled to a full refund of a single fare for your journey*

Fact: There were 1371 delays between January and September 2009. That works out to approximately 42 delays a week!** Did any of these affect you?

**** The Ultimate Form Filling Application That Actually Makes You Money***

If you use the tube every week day to go to work, it means that on an average week you are almost guaranteed to be delayed. More than likely you will be delayed two or three times in the week and before you just had to live with it.

But not anymore!

Now with the Tube Refund Application you can claim back a full single journey fare at the touch of a few buttons!

•Tube ticket prices are increasing on regular basis
•The service has not improved
•Tubes are overcrowded
•Delays and strikes are a regular occurrence

Refund Forms

London Underground does provide refunds if Tube journeys are delayed by more than 15 minutes, however:

1)Not many people know about this refund scheme
2)The paper form takes time to fill out and you have to ask for it from the station staff.
3)By the time you get to work late and catch up – you have forgotten that you need to fill out a refund form.

An automated service to make it easier for you to claim your refunds in a few 4 simple steps:

1)When you first get the application you will enter your travel details and ticket details. These will be safely stored on your phone.

2)The next time you have a delay – you only have to fill out one form with the specifics of your delay (time / date etc).

3)The Tube Refund App does all the rest of the form filling and submission to the tube website for you.

4)Wait at home for your refund voucher!

Let’s take an example – every week it costs £44 for a zones 1-5 travel card.

On an average week there will be 1 or 2 delays on any given leg of the journey (that’s right if both legs of the journey are delayed on a day you are entitled to a refund TWICE!).

Being conservative – lets say we use the tube-refund application to claim back 2 single fare journeys.

That’s £8 pounds back in a week! (Two £4 REFUNDS in a week!)

Tube Refund has been created to make it easier for anyone to claim a refund when your tube is delayed.

• No more forgetting to claim!
• No more filling out long forms!
• Tube Refund does it all for you!

Tube Refund currently only works for Oyster Cards and TFL Cards. National Rail Refunds will be available in the next update!
