If you were to combine a fuck bucket of things I love, from digital interactivity to 90’s beat ’em ups… you’d probably end up with this:
Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter – In real life:
Created by the awesome GakAttack, the perfect blend of special effects and martial arts, alongside .Start, the gamer specific entertainment channel… This is one of the best portrayals of real life Street Kombat (see what I did there) I have ever seen!
Congratulations boys, that was Perfect! (Or should I say Flawless?)
Keep an eye on this incredible team, they plan to make an entire series dedicated to Fan Fights. If your appetite is not whet enough yet, check out this super-human showdown:
Batman vs Captain America – Ultimate Fan Fight:
Fed into my eyes by @D_NSandNick.
Those that enjoyed the Imperial March on floppy disk and especially if you actually enjoyed floppy disk (Yes… they once were more than a save icon), here is a right array of treats for you.

Apologies for a quick post, I am currently holidaying in Spain and there is a small group of old people that are just about to have their ace handed to them on the tennis court (see what I did there?).
Anyway, look… You can get a joystick for your iPad.
Oh yes, I’ve decided to refer to any device supporting such awesome retro mechanics as a JiPad, it would have been Joypad but they already exist.
So here is more information and links to purchase from ThinkGeek.

The most retro remastering of the Star Wars theme tune EVER!
To promote the retro/Shoreditch cool pixelating iPhone app, ‘Pixel Face’, Grimaceworks created this lovely little webgame, based on the hipsters hit ‘being a dickhead is cool’.
Answer the kwestions in this kwl kwz to find out exactly how bigger tw@ you are with the ‘Dickheadometer’:
What surprised me was that it seems to be built solely to promote an app, without any branding (cue gasp).

Stay tuned for Font Face… coming soon.
I’ve just been to an innovations session to discover the latest and greatest in emerging technologies, but all I’ve left with is the urge to revisit the 80’s.
The other day I was overcome by a weird wave of nostalgia. I decided to purge this sentimentality with a few bouts on YouTube. I went about finding comedy callings from Street Fighter, Sonic, Mario and Mortal Kombat and thats when one name kept appearing…
It’s an almost vast array of comedic clips based entirely on classic video games (such as those previously mentioned).
Obviously I found like nostalgic crack. Here are some of my favourites:
